    Yellow cards!

When are referees going to stop handing out yellow cards for tackles that are not even fouls let alone warranting a booking? Over this week-end I've seen so many perfectly fair tackles being penalised in this way. Football is rapidly becoming a non-contact sport. The sliding tackle has virtually been banished from the game. For goodness sake, not every tackle is a foul!!

And refs being poor plays a major role, Rojo should have had a red instead of a yellow today.

It's a good job VAR is coming in because referee's are struggling a lot of them know the rules but clearly don't understand football they aren't helped by players throwing themselves to the floor and screaming even though nothing is wrong with them, also referee's are more lenient for the bigger teams in the prem United should have had 2 players sent off today. The standard of refereeing in the Championship has been really poor this season.

Not too long ago, people were clamouring for professional referees, and got them. Refereeing in the prem improved a bit, but now it's back to the previous norm.
