Clarets Can Now Plan for Next Season

Forty points has proved to be enough for Burnley to survive for another season in the EPL via an unbelievable turnaround in form for the Clarets in 2019. - External Link

Should we open a transfer thread now and keep all the rumours in one place?

Despite the single goal defeat, at the hands of the title favourites Manchester City, there was nevertheless much to admire about Burnley’s play.
For the second time in a matter of six days, the Clarets had shown stoic resistance against technically superior opponents

can undertand the setup - why Burnley play as they do - but I can't admire it.

that being said - it's guaranteed Burnley another PL season....can but hope we find ways to move the game to another level.

    Cheers.

Dyche loves 4-4-2 and it works for him. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Yes Norder agree with our comments.

At this stage moving the game to another level is best achieved by finding a ground that is at a higher altitude to that of the Turf.

But I will look forward to our pre-season efforts (almost certainly against Bangor and Fleetwood) where, and I quote, "the results will be less important than getting game time into legs".

The outstanding questions are going to be which legs attached to what bodies will we be talking about??

And how many of the not-really-loved players will still be with us.

Ahh; sadly we approach another season of quashed transfer hopes.

....perhaps they'll just opt for thicker insoles - Heeler....but do sympathise with the "game time in the legs" - playing Bangor and Fleetwood will be hard graft for sure....being there'll be two of everything - and your right....what legs will be attached to what bodies....with Barton just receiving a 6 month driving ban for speeding offences - who knows what mood he'll be in by then.

And as for being Loved....we're not even liked.

    am depressed already !
