Last tour I think they played a game at the Millers training complex, then one at a proper club ground a few miles away, so may be doing the same again? Whatever, I guess it will be in the Hanover area, probably against German lower division teams. Takes about 40 mins on train from Hanover to Barsinghausen

It's all based in Lower Saxony, so if we are to be playing teams from League 2, then it's from this lot:

    FC Köln
    SC Paderborn 07
    FC Union Berlin
    Hamburg SV
    FC Heidenheim
    St Pauli
    Holstein Kiel
    SSV Jahn Regensburg
    Arminia Bielefeld
    SV Darmstadt 98
    VfL Bochum
    FC Erzgebirge Aue
    Dynamo Dresden
    SpVgg Greuther Furth
    SV Sandhausen
    FC Ingolstadt 04
    1. FC Magdeburg
    MSV Duisburg

If it turns out we were crap and lose all our games then the squad will be left behind to play in Stalag 13.....

and if we're really good then we can play Hanover 96 from the Bundesliga, which is just up the road.

What he's not told them is that the plane lands at 6;30 just in time to get through customs and then a steady jog to the hotel

Bielefeld is close geographically, but if previous tours are anything to go by, we could be playing teams from the divisions below that one

Is Bundesliga 2 the German equivalent to our Championship or is it a lower standard than that?

Same as Championship, I think. Some fairly big names in there, that's why our opponents may be from divisions below that.

It's the equivalent of our Championship mellow.
Their average crowd is ever so slightly higher.
