    O/T RIP Freddie Starr

RIP Not everyone's cuppa but as a ****ager I saw him in Great Yarmouth at the height of his 'fame' and loved him. Mum hated his coarseness.

PS The negative reaction to The Sun's 'witty' headline announcing his death just about sums up how pathetic society has become (IMHO as they say)

PPS Anyone who know's former Allo Allo actress Vickie Michelle I'd be very afraid. She seems to have a quote on every obituary I every read

Can't say for certain but was around the time he started to hit the headlines so probably 1970/1?

Wow, might have been in the same audience

I was there then on a holiday with a group of other lads.

A very funny man in his day and a true entertainer.

Obviously his latter years were a bit controversial and he cut a very sad figure.

R.I.P Freddie, thanks for the laughs...

Strange but I never actually found this bloke funny. Each to their own I suppose.

    Barrymore was another one.

Great entertainer. Found him very funny. Got caught up in the abuse scandal like many others but nothing proved. It was said last night to have contributed to his poor health. Rest in peace funny man.

The part of his act where he sped up and slowed down songs was really funny I thought. Then again I found most of his stuff funny.

Ali and Elvis were both big fans of his. Not a bad couple of fans to have tbf.

Once went to fancy dress as his "Hitler" character, seemed funny 35 years ago.
