    Who'd be a manager

    Mansfield sacked Flitcroft.
    Ok they didn't win promotion but still had a relatively successful season.

    Should have sacked Tyler Walker for missing 3 open goals over the 2 legs.
    It's not always the manager's fault.
    Look at Man Utd this season. The players downed tools to get Mourinho out.
    Put in a real shift to get Solsjaer the job, then stopped playing for him once he was made permanent.

    To be fair they had the second best budget in League Two so in reality they have failed to hit their target .

    Tyler walker missed 3 good chances but to add balance, the Mansfield keeper and poor Newport finishing saved them from an embarrassing aggregate defeat over the 2 legs. Flitcroft can count himself unfortunate but that's life. They bottled it when automatic promotion looked almost certain at Easter.
