    Is it possible?

This is what i dont get, something isnt right here, theres nowt stopping fatty selling everyone and pocketing the cash.
    Unless the takeover isnt happening.

There has been a complete transfer embargo in the past during takeover talks

I think if they met his release clause then it couldn't be stopped anyway.

So surely the club isn't valued at the same price with one less player

Depends how much he was valued at on the balance sheet?

Plus, getting rid of a top manager and your leading goalscorer makes relegation more likely so you'd think that would affect the price too?

Honestly, come on, there’s no take over on the cards.

I have tried googling it but there appears to be no clear rule at least I can find. Plenty rules on takeovers but nothing about selling players. This suggests to me that they have not agreed anything otherwise any potential buyer would want to assess the players themselves with a new or retained manager.

    Take over is humbug!

As long as nothing has been signed between the two Ashley can do as he wants.

To be honest, i believe until he's not actually legally our owner he can do as he wants.
