After a seemingly long two week break it’s back to league action tomorrow, as we take on an in form Nottingham Forest at the Liberty.
Since the last home match we’ve won away at Leeds and gone top of the table, and our Head Coach Steve Cooper has just won the Manager of the Month award, so congratulations to all involved.
Team news, our young centre back Joe Rodon is doubtful after taking a knock in the Wales friendly against Belarus on Monday night.
Forest have defender Carl Jenkinson out with an ankle injury and striker Rafa Mir (yet to score) out with a leg injury.

Forest are unbeaten away, we are unbeaten at home, sounds like a draw.
Hoping for the win and a good game this afternoon.
If Rodon doesn’t make it we have on loan central defender Ben Wilmot (Watford) to come in. He has only played in the cup games so far but has been impressive in our unbeaten cup run, which has featured a completely new starting eleven to the league games.

To balance things up a bit on the Rodon front, Forest continue to have right back Carl Jenkinson and striker Rafa Mir ruled out through injury.

Not at the races today. Lethargic and sluggish in our passing and poor distribution. Forest the better side. Bullied us off the ball we were second best to everything. Suicidal pass back for the Forest goal. A big side, our little players had no answer, and when Cooper brought on little Dyer instead of some big muscle like Peterson, you just knew we were going to lose.

Forest manager was spot on when explaining how they won:
“we defended very well, it was not easy for them”
“we did not give them the time and space to play the way they like to play”
“we were more compact, more aggressive, more determined to take something."

We had no pace out there, slow and ponderous. Subs made no difference, they were like for like rather than changing things around at half time it was obvious we were being crowded off the ball, where was Cabango with his speed, not even sub, why didn’t big Peterson come on to give us some muscle out wide and big Wilmot to shore up midfield (yes he can play in midfield as well as centre back) to stop us being bullied off the ball.

Garrick played for the U23’s tonight, they got hammered at Reading 5-0.
Its not going well at all for them after getting relegated last season.

It seems you need big and physical players in this division. Many times we've seen us play and been pressed high and bullied off the ball. It was the same under Potter and we haven't found an answer to it yet. Forest had us sussed out and negated our play and deserved to win.
