O/T Can anyone remember going to East Dene Miners' Welfare on Far lane?

It was demolished to make way for The Lanes

I recall the Lanes being built. I was a pupil at Badly Moor Lane Juniors at the time. To say the East Dene Miners' Welfare was demolished to allow The Lanes to be built is an over statement. The Lanes are simply massive and start approximately just off Broadway East right along Far Lane to the junction of Badly Moor Lane.

From both entrances, it then stretches all the way down to Herringthorpe Valley Road, a very vast estate of houses/bungalows.

NB. Patty do you recall what you had for breakfast this morning or do you want help with that question?
