One of the best meals I've ever had was in there Crash. Absolutely top drawer restaurant a couple of years ago.
Must have really slipped if it's got a ZERO.
Not sure how they work . I've seen ratings on windows from 1-5.
Place in Wickersley 450above was 5 last year.
Quite a popular place. Now rated zero.
That must be shut surely?

The rating is not what the snap tastes like.
It's the hygiene.
Google tends to be a bit more useful than Millersmad with things like this.
https://www.food.gov.uk/safety-hygie...-rating-schemeRatings are a snapshot of the standards of food hygiene found at the time of inspection. It is the responsibility of the business to comply with food hygiene law at all times.
This includes:
handling of food
how food is stored
how food is prepared
cleanliness of facilities
how food safety is managed
The food hygiene rating scheme does not provide information on the following factors:
quality of the food
customer service
culinary skill
presentation
comfort

That's what I said hygiene!!!!
Sometimes it’s not the restaurant’s fault.
Couple of years ago Dynasty Chinese on Sheffield road went from 5 to zero because the food delivery guy turned up early and left the pallets of foods outside. The owners turned up at the correct delivery time but in between time the food inspectors had turned up to see various species of rodents were sniffing around the pallets.
I know the owners of 450 and they come across as the perfect hosts. But I’ve just read the inspectors report on line and what shocked me was Confidence in management. Little!
Also says the company is going to be dissolved on Tuesday.
Perfect hosts.
**** restaurant
Confidence in management dosent equate to a zero hygiene rating does it ?
