O/T What was that noise at 2.45 this morning?

Woke me with a start. Bang....bang....bang! Carried on and off for about 30 minutes.

Sounded just like someone pile driving those big metal dividers into the ground, the type they use in canals and river banks. Sounded distant but what a din. Anyone else hear it?

I await the usual humorous banter.....

Dunno mate. Enough trouble end of our street . Couldn't get onto Flanderwell lane this morning. Drug bust. Still blocked and taped off now near rosedale and sycamore.
