Daniel Sturridge banned for four months....

Why don't players learn anything from other players mistakes?

Lost his contract at Trabzonspor and his fine increased to £150,000! Dare say he can afford it.

This just proves there is too much money in the game, this lad could have been a very very good player but could not be arsed because he’s loaded.

Just what we need in the cship next season.
Set him up in Wickersley, where a few of our players live now, as there's a few betting shops on the Tanyard.
That should keep him a happy bunny.
A bit injury prone but we're used to those type of players

    Might be off to MLS.

His career has rapidly declined, although Suarez did make him look better than he actually was.

It says his contract was cancelled by mutual consent and he himself states he felt guilty taking a wage when he couldn't contribute. If sports betting outfits are prepared to let people bet on player moves then what do they expect? OK, in hindsight it might be a bit silly of him to 'joke' with his brother to bet on him moving to Seville but he never did make the move anyway. Maybe there's more to this than meets the eye but on the surface of what's written it looks a bit harsh.

Cue comment from Grist along the lines of, "But can you imagine what the fine would have been if....."
