    Rondon

Isaac Hayden: "People don’t realise last season the reason why the formation worked so well was because Salomon Rondon was a massive part of that. You could hit the ball 40 yards to his chest and he would knock four players off the ball. We don’t have that this season."

Very true! Rondon is quite a unique player when you think about it. Cut from the same cloth as a Drogba

Rondon was a proper centre forward and a fearless target man the type of which, until Brucey came along, we have always built our attacking style on.

    Oh happy days.

Long ball is all Bruce is capable off that is why he has the worst stats in Premier League with all of his previous clubs

I agree with Hayden and the replies above but Super Brucey said he was happy with his squad before the season started and happy with his forwards when the January window closed.
So therefore he should do the job he is paid for and get the best out of what he has. The West Brom fans last year couldn't get Rondon away quick enough, Rafa wanted him and knew he was the forward he needed for his style of play. A good manager see. Rondon was quality when he was here.
Another thing with what Hayden says tells me the players do not have a clue how Bruce wants them to play hence why a lot have gone back over instead of improving. Mark my words, the players have no confidence in Bruce regardless of what the Ashley fed media tell us.

Agree with Hayden, we can all see it not working.

It's the same way in which we've all said Joelinton isn't a target man.

Also, agreed that it says players don't have a clue, also says something that players are happy to say stuff like that as it could be interpeted in many different ways - not many positive.

A diplomatic way for Hayden to explain that all is not well in the dressing room at SDFC.

Stories about the Saint not being happy and Brucey having a wobble in the Burnley interview. No smoke without fire, as they say.

Bruce loses the dressing room now, we go down.
