Continuing the criminal theme, I am going to say Micky Thomas. He played against us at Millmoor several times and my mate's dad used to call him "Micky Mouth"![]()

You know the score by now. These aren't intended to be easy. I'll post new clues regularly (at least daily). I won't be responding to guesses until someone is correct. Guess as many times as you like. There's no O/T in the title so obviously it's football related. Here we go. Good luck.
I have played for my country.
I am lightning quick but a simple task takes me a long time.
I spent a lot of my early career warming benches.
Puff the Magic Dragon has a connection with my birth.
Kevin Pressman should have had my first name.
I have played at NYS but not at Millmoor.
Bad Moon Rising also has a connection with my birth.
I played 0 games for my first 3 clubs.
I'm not awkward, honestly, but it usually takes a while to get my signature.
Scoring my first goal for one of my teams, I swear I could hear the music of John Paul Young playing in the background.
I'm a defender but can play many positions.
Naughty boys in nasty schools is a clue to my current team.

Conor Hourihane, not sure he’s sat on benches much but I just thought this might be an Irish player which probably is not at all 😂
Luther Blissett
Devon Malcolm
Just had a rethink (seen him play too) - Terry Yorath fits three of the the clues better than Micky Thomas
Or possibly Ryan Giggs (don't remember him being on the bench much though)
