Phil Turner for me. Seen as an austerity measure in a deal that included him + £125k, with our player of the season going in the opposite direction, I don’t think there were many that thought he’s go on to play 200+ games and captain us to victory numerous times as Wembley!

I’ll never forget his header against I think Hull city (could have been Bolton) where he “lobbed” the goal keeper with his head a few feet from the deck. Incredible goal.

Ended up at Torquay and then got a boozer down that way, trying to remember the name of the midfielder with blonde hair who we binned off to wolves whom was a similar type of player, crashing in a shot to beat us 3 0 at wolves, think it was a cup game, I remember we shared the massive stand behind the goal and the wolves fans singing 'in your Nottingham slums '
