interesting to note that our promotion in 60s under Kerr and subsequent push on under the decades had a big Ron Yates in the team (captain?) - i dont see him in the hall of fame. But Alan Main is ffs

Agreed. Absolutely pivotal player in getting us up, establishing us in the top division and ensuring we finished above the Funsters ‘Greatest Ever Team’ each season either side of 62.
