    Slogan on Football Shirts

I get putting Black Lives Matter on Football shirts just once even though it should have been All Lives Matter - but every game!!! Is this not becoming a complete joke now!!!

Should there not be other slogans - Gay Lives Matter or how about Trans Lives Matter!

Fairs fair - we need to cover everything!

Now that the Premier have set a precedent for forcing players to wear this ridiculous political message that has nothing to do with football, they could display just about anything now. I wonder if FIFA will allow players to wear slogans on their shirts for the World Cup in Qatar proclaiming the unequal treatment of women and gays?

With Qatar in mind - could the shirts display - one wife matters as surely more than one wife is bordering on slavery and discrimination against women!

Souness and Redknapp wearing the obligatory BLM badges along with NHS badge on SKY today ( SKY never miss a beat when it comes to a bandwagon)

People are now scared not to be seen to be doing this stuff now if they have a public profile.

That in itself should frighten anyone who believes in a free society.

I gather Ryan Shotten ( of mixed race ) was the only player in his game not to take the knee.

Good on him and at least he followed his own heart and whatever beliefs he has.

Wasn't there a big noise about wearing a poppy on a shirt as it was considered political by some?

The Poppy should never be classed as divisive or political. The poppy symbolises remembrance for all who lost their lives in conflict ie all lives matter if you like.

I agree - our armed forces put their lives on the front line for our freedom. Will there be huge protests around the country with a Libyan asylum seeker butchering to death three young innocent individuals in a park? One could say this was a racist/terrorist attack or perhaps both.

It is ridiculous Baggieal, it makes you cringe. It almost like commercialises the whole thing.. lets wear a tshirt to show our support. We've been here before with the rainbow laces, I know exactly what you mean - just can't find the right word to describe it.
