    Britain is too soft!!

Unless this is again false news ??

The Home Secretary strongly condemned the unrest at Napier Barracks in Folkestone, Kent, which reportedly broke out after migrants were told they would no longer be transferred to hotels after a Covid outbreak. She described the behaviour of those involved as 'deeply offensive to the taxpayers of this country' and described it as an 'insult' to suggest the site, formerly home to British soldiers, was not good enough for asylum seekers. She promised a 'robust action' against those involved, as she summoned a gold command meeting to discuss the incident this evening. Dozens of emergency service workers are currently on scene as huge flames can be seen engulfing at least one of the buildings. The barracks have been used by the Government to house 400 asylum seekers since September last year despite concerns about the conditions.

The same distressed situation. I heard was happening in Greece, perhaps not burning buildings, but 'hell' they come from their country's and start to want hotels, schools etc etc. ..... show them to respect us !!

BT : Yes this government has lost its mind. There is an imbalance, the famous on the rich plate and the left overs on another. Its happening here too, the religious are sitting in government, they hold large weddings ,pray in synagogues, study in class rooms, and when police arrive??? Whilst others (the 'good' folk) are squatting at home (but of course, weather permitting I am out into the Nature with my camera). Perhaps all this ,one day the penny will drop?.....and then what will happen?

I wouldn't say the current government is too soft Balan, but every time the Home Office attempts to deport foreign criminals, a whole host of lefty lawyers, journalists and activists use human rights legislation to block the flights with the aid of sympathetic lefty judges in the courts.

If any member of the government suggests repealing any of said human rights laws, in order to better protect innocent UK citizens from foreign criminals, the same host of lefty lawyers, lefty politicians and activists use their lefty journo friends to create a media ****-storm, which convinces the government it might be wise to back off. You can't really blame the Loony Left, they're not that loony actually, they've proved time and time again that it works.

If you look at these deportations on a case by case basis sinkov like I do, there is no consistency and in a lot of cases (I would say the majority) there is little empathy or humanity shown to the deportees.

I find it odd that we will deport a person who was born here but still gets "repatriated" to his "home" country, despite never having lived there with neither familial or financial support nor social fabric to support him or her when they "get back home".

Whatever happened to our Christian influenced "open arms" policy for the vulnerable and persecuted "others?"

Do you really believe the majority of deportees are "foreign thieves, rapists and murderers" sinkov?

Believe it or not, our Criminal Justice System has a paradigm for returning convicted offenders to their nation of origin upon completion of their custodial sentence.

What is more alarming to me is that there is no paradigm for not allowing them to return on the next plane back. If you don't believe me, feel free to check it out?
