    Congratulations to little Barrow AFC

    Back in the league after 48yrs,last time we played them in the league was 1970 Third Division & 1988 in the FA Cup.

    Well done to them. Much prefer to see them in the league than the millionaire’s folly that is Salford.

    That used to be a reight Derby match Barrow v Workington (another club sadly missed).

    Pretty sure I was there. Won 5-0. Dave Watson score a few goals? That’s the 1970 game
