    Orgs

What do you make of TB12 going to Tampa and the Gronk coming out of retirement to join him and do you think Cam Newton will have a good season under BB?

Assuming they do get to play, this might work out well for all of the parties involved.

Both Belichick and Brady have been keen to show they can do well independently of one another (Bill wanted to keep Garoppolo as Brady's replacement a year or so back, but was overruled).

Brady should do well enough with the (arguably better) offensive options at his disposal in Tampa. Not sure Gronk will be much more than a shirt seller, but he's entertaining enough!

Newton is more mobile than Brady, but definitely has talent and coule be deployed differently to Brady.

Be interesting to see how it pans out...

I think both parties will struggle.

TB does not cheat as often and as well as BB does. his all encompassing desire to win will not be present in TB's organization. That will rub off on Brady. Brady's also old. it's not like he's going to a team like Denver that was just a couple of pieces away from a super bowl. It's basically the same analogy as rooney going to a clown show organization. He can't carry the team and coach it as well.

Don't see newton buying into the win at all costs mindset that permeates a BB operation. He'll get disrespected at some time and it will be all over for the honeymoon.

Not a Pats fan then Spaldy

Depends on the protection Cam has as Brady could release the ball pretty quickly.

Defense has lost Van Noy and Collins.

Weird how last seasons defense went 8-0 in the first games letting only 67 points against then crumbled on the run in.

    Looking forward to this season.

Wondering if the chiefs can do back to back Super Bowls. 49ers to replicate last seasons form as their team looks strong or will they have the dreaded Super bowl hangover curse.

Just out of interest Spaldy, do you support a team or just a fan of the game like myself?

Fred, not much for throwball but...

since I live in Indy, I do support the colts.... everytime I buy something they add 1-2% tax for the colts in the Indy area. Used to be able to go outside the county and not pay it but now it's around a 50 mile radius so they pretty much have you.

Probably wouldn't dislike the pats so much but boston fans are the most obnoxious fans in the world... next to scumchester. However, boston fans are obnoxious in every sport. Thank the lord my beloved blues beat the bruins last year. Been blessed to have the blues win the cup and now Leeds going up. Will be the best 12 months of my life sports wise!

To be fair, Spaldy is probably right about Boston.

I did see Bledsoe play, so I’m not a total glory hunter.

And they are my nearest team!
