United vs St Mirren, 10th May

Thought we may as well start a thread for what will probably be our season defining match.

We could really do with a 90-minute performance and no square pegs in round holes. Our lack of squad depth has hit us at the worst possible time,

I would love this to be the game where we win comfortably by a few goals but I expect another match that is so poor that it risks football getting banned.

Maximum effort required from players and fans!

Looks like pegs will be in whatever hole is nearest regardless of shape, given we look f*cked for CBs. A win under the circumstances would be f*cking massive.

Injury wise, everything seems to be catching up injury at precisely the wrong time. We?ve actually done well through the season coping with this given we?ve been without Sibbald, Moult, Trapanovski, Graham, Holt, Strain, Docherty for protracted periods but these latest issues are starting to feel a step too far. Frankl given all this, I?m now just wanting to make sure we finish 5th and a draw will more than likely be good enough to at least ensure that.

This is exactly where I am too. Battle out a draw and I'd be happy with that.

Have we got any bottle? We need to find some attitude.

A little surprised that such an important match is getting very little attention on the forum.
I've no idea who's fit to start but I hope the players give it 100% and find a way to win. 3 points tomorrow and there could still be twists and turns before the well proportioned lady gets up for some karaoke. Our squad may be running on fumes but add a bit of adrenalin and get the job done.

    C'mon United 🧡

It will be a surprise if we get anything from this given all circumstances

Also just came see us beating another prem side 5 out of 5, must be a rarity

    We really miss Luca

    I'd go

    Walton
    Strain Gallagher Manny Ferry
    Docherty Sevelj
    Trap VDS Middleton
    Dalby

That side could work, especially if Middleton actually turns up with the correct attitude to contribute.
Also lets get the ball to him and Trap. theres no point playing them if we dont give them the ball.

Id rather play the young hyphenated lad than Gallagher given that maybe him and Manny can form a partnership next season.

A draw might not be a bad result in our quest for 4th. If Aberdeen lose their next 2 games against Rangers and Celtic which you hope they would it would mean all to play for in the final day showdown knowing a win would do it.
