What gets on my chesticles with Wigan is.....

Everything that has been reported has been from a football perspective, they have paid all player wages - injustices to players blah blah blah

What about the small businesses, contractors that have done work for Wigan Football Club, who as a result of the administration, might well find themselves at best getting 16p in the £1 for work/services carried out in good faith - yet still have their suppliers to pay etc?

There has been no mention of this from anyone, yet things are already difficult enough for some small businesses with what has happened. What Wigan have done is immoral and frankly they deserve everything they get thrown at them as a club, unfortunately the fans will just have to suck it up (As we have done in years gone by).

I bet any one Wigan fan couldn't tell you the last time a good team got dismantled to ensure the books balanced - we have have seen several in the last 5 years alone!

When they were promoted from League 1 in 2016 - they had to get out of the division then as the SCMP would have kicked in the following year.

Sam Morsey hoping justice is done........It has Sam, by having 12 points deducted. What I would say to Morsey is did he once stop to think before he signed the contract at Wigan - that was allegedly significantly higher than what we offered - that a team who get lower gates than us could afford the difference in deals, or did the sustainability not enter his head as he signed it and then went away to count his money!

They have gained a fraudulent league position by signing players with money they didn't have .

    That's a solid fact .

I dare say the owners are dodgy , nobody is disputing that but someone at Wigan was happy enough to sell them the club .

Is this shambles anything to do with us ?

No it isn't because the reality is every league point we gained we could afford to earn it .

Our 49 points beats Wigan's 59 which were earned fraudulently .

    Totally agree

Also, do you think would have had a beef with the 12 points deduction had it not sent them down, and instead meant them dropping a few places in the league?....I didnt think so!!

They are a little perturbed about their owners on their own message boards and social media Dools.

Thank God we have Chien, Paul and Dane running our club is what I say.

I agree with most things you say, but is it really the supporter's, player's or manager's fault?
If the firm I work for went bust, I'd feel pretty hard done by. I don't know if they're struggling to pay their wage bill.
The dodgy thing is the timescale.
Who pays £40m for a club then puts it in administration a month later?
Is there any truth in the betting scandal?
It would have to be a massive bet to get your £40m back.
Whether we like it or not, there's something really not right about it.

Hodger, from what I read this guy was part of the consortium who originally bought the club on or around the 4th June.... then decided to buy it Himself on the 20th...... whatever, Who in their right mind buys a football club in the middle of a massive world health crisis.......?
    Especially in Wigan?

Well that maybe so Hodger but what we have here is the classic dog eat dog situation .

Relegation for ourselves leaves us massively exposed to entering administration or even folding altogether .

So it's a feck you Wigan from me .

I’ll say this. .... If the 12 point deduction could have been tolerated, WIGAN wouldn’t have given a sh!t. They’d have sucked it up as fourth bottom and carried on next season. Had they won last night, there wouldn’t have been an appeal.. they’d have taken the deduction amd laughed their tyts off at us.......
When this twister bought the club, the pandemic was in full swing....... Had he been asleep since March?
