    Friendlies Confirmed

We have confirmed four friendlies ahead of our 2020-21 Vanarama National League campaign.

Neal Ardley’s men returned for pre-season training this week and they’ll be stepping up their preparations with visits to Ilkeston, Alfreton, Nuneaton and Telford. Further friendlies may be announced in the future.

Under government guidelines, clubs at steps 3-6 of the National League pyramid will be permitted to welcome a limited number of supporters from 31 August. We will therefore work with Ilkeston and Nuneaton to communicate ticketing arrangements for those matches in due course.

Confirmed pre-season friendlies (3pm unless otherwise stated)

Saturday 5 September: Ilkeston Town (A)

Saturday 12 September: Alfreton Town (A) BEHIND CLOSED DOORS

    Tuesday 15 September (7.30pm): Nuneaton Borough (A)

Saturday 19 September: AFC Telford United (A) BEHIND CLOSED DOORS

Won’t be able to play league teams (except Harrogate in the FA Trophy) because the league season will have already begun, so not many options presumably. Boston United (again) would have been interesting given their recent signings. Cutting down on travel seems to have been a factor (could have given Belper a rematch).
