More the reason to keep Osbourne...
I found this a very interesting piece of analysis on our Geordie Messi. Hope you do too...
I loved this bit: "Moreover, he has shown he can perform in difficult circumstances. In one of the games watched for this article he performed solidly, if not spectacularly, during a Tuesday night game away to a rough and rugged AFC Fylde, played on a pitch more in keeping with the final day of Glastonbury than a professional football match. We'll be under no obligation to sell him unless a big bid comes in so I'm not too worried about him going anywhere yet, if his form continues over next season we'll be looking at a huge fee imo
I'd agree but careful, you're not allowed to think Osborne isn't the next Lionel Messi because he's local.
I'd imagine Ardley's database of players thanks to Football Radar is a delight to look at and we'll have options across the board to fill positions if and when they open up. Recruitment under Ardley has been the best we've had for years and it seemed that way even before the Reedtz brothers came in to be fair to him. Other than Shields...
If Cal Roberts continues where he left off last season and there is a January transfer window this coming season, then I’d imagine there would be some league clubs wanting to take him off our hands. Obviously from a selfish perspective it would be good if he can stay with us for the entire season at least.
The best players in the National League are always under the watchful eye and radar of league clubs probably more so than players in league two.
