Works for me as long as we don't do our usual piss the 10m away on overpriced underperformers who get injured straight away

Bogle would thrive in Sheffield United fluid set up I think, where offensive skills in defenders are key, so a sell on clause is important

£10 million for both would be IMO good value, but would expect there to be add on clauses.

The current situation is that we are still very close to FFP limits and other clubs, even those not close to FFP limits, don't have as bif a "warchest" as they did a year ago. That will be reflected in transfer fees. 6 months ago, £15M for the pair would have been about right. £10M today will reflect clubs' loss of income so far and expected drop this season.

The great unwashed are chuffed to death that we got "nul points" deducted and appear to think "that is that". I have a message for them. We are still at or almost at the limits of FFP. Total income from last season will have been down, for everybody. This season will be the same. Nowhere near the ticket income we would expect. Sponsors and advertisers will, in all probablilty, have renegotiated their deals with the Rams. The decrease in income will affect us, through FFP, for a few years yet. 19/20 will be a bad year/season, financially, for clubs as will 20/21 be. The EFL case was over the 3 years up to the 17/18 season The next few FFP calculations will affect:

16/17 - 17/18 - 18/19
17/18 - 18/19 - 19/20
18/19 - 19/20 - 20/21
19/20 - 20/21 - 21/22
20/21 - 21/22 - 22/23

This might also be further affected as we have not yet posted the accounts for the 18/19 season which were dut at Companies House in March. Clubs got an extension due to Covid. That deadline has also come and gone. It is possible that we got a further extension waiting for the verdict of the EFL tribunal but not a guarantee.

This delay might lead to further charges from the EFL or from the CPS for the late presentation of te accounts.

Can see him being surplus to requirement at WBA but he’s 31 and not really a 90 minute player.
