    National League 0, COVID 19

Four more games off in the National League today due to COVID. What is our league doing differently to, say, League 2, which seems to be relatively unscathed at present?

Is it testing? As far as I was aware, L2 clubs aren’t required to test, and it’s not like they have that much money to spend.

Is it because there are part-time clubs whose players may not be in “bubbles” like professional players are?

On the field, Torquay were held to a draw, Maidenhead won again, against Chesterfield (Sam Barrett score twice again), Hartlepool’s game was abandoned (not sure why yet), and the mighty Aldershot and Bromley are now ahead of us in the table. Twelfth going into Tuesday’s game at Halifax.

    Abandoned because of rain

One of the advantages of no fans being allowed I suppose. Hartlepool to Eastleigh is a 600 mile round trip!
