With all the smaller clubs (league and non league) struggling to survive during the current pandemic Wouldn’t it be good if every Premier league footballer donated just one weeks wages to their local clubs, I’m sure they wouldn’t miss one weeks wages from the millions they earn per year.

I agree but never going to happen! Greedy w ankers are this way for a reason! Remember Ozil refusing a mere pay cut on over 200K a week! No wonder many are turning off football in the droves and following non league where it's about - love - people and community!
Zohore on 50K a week - this could fund the running of some lower league clubs and he's no better than a donkey on Blackpool beach which you could buy for a grand! Chuck the welsh international into this summary also!![]()
Football fans who got fed up with all the greed...use to say...don't go to matches....protest...stay away.......
Well it has been forced on football to address this imbalance in the sport.......lets see if anything changes......Perhaps fans use to staying away from games will notice more money in their own pockets and think twice about going back to games....maybe?
I think more than maybe Dubs - many will have noticed savings in their pockets - greed of players during the pandemic - no money cascading down from richer clubs and attendances were already dropping. Many are focused on family and keeping safe rather than football.
Football Clubs are like Airlines/Tour Operators where the marketing and sales model has not changed and now we have a crisis - many are ****ed! They can only blame themselves
