Well another sleepless night during lockdown so here goes my match preview. While Newcastle have picked up 4 points from their opening 3 games Burnley languish pointless near the foot of the table. Last season there was only a single goal scored in the two League meetings between these clubs but I fear for the Clarets on their current form. If this was pantomime season I’d expect to hear cries of “He’s behind you!” every time Andy Carroll appears in the box. Jeff Hendrick will probably prove the villain of the show and leave Wicked Uncle Shearer beaming in the audience. The referee is David Coote who was the subject of Andy Robertson’s post match rant when he had failed to award a penalty against Burnley in our 1-1 draw at Anfield last season. COYC!

I've just, as gently as possible, informed Mrs S that yet another of her Saturday evening's in watching Sky Cinema will have to be cancelled. To say she's not best pleased is putting it mildly. FFS get us off Saturday night TV asap or I'm going to be divorced, and I don't fancy making my own tea for the rest of my life.

I'm in the same boat Mon Ami, but Mrs 59-60 is a Man Utd fan who has a soft spot for the Clarets so I manage to prise her away from Casualty.
Mind you, if we are a regular fixture on Saturday night then things may change....
