Wasn't it only yesterday when EFL clubs were saying many could go out of business? 6 Championship teams by Christmas - and how they needed money quick??

And yet still plenty of transfer activity today. How can they afford to do this if they are in danger of going bust??

No team in danger of going under or requesting cash bailouts (whether Premier League or Government schemes) should be allowed to transfer in any players at all. Even loan signings mean they usually have to pay a fee on top of wages.

They will be making more staff redundant next whilst still shelling out expensive wages to footballers. . Sorry, rant over.
