Scottish football success- media go way over the top

I cannot believe how much attention the media has given Scotland after their extra time, then penalties, win over Serbia last night. Despite taking the lead, they eventually conceded a Serbian equaliser to go into extra time(again) From then on in, it looked only a matter of time before Serbia would get the winner. Scotland must have been delighted to go to penalties, and it really wasn’t a surprise that Mitrovic missed his spot kick. After beating mighty Israel on penalties to get to this position, they had already over achieved. Everyone knows that Scottish football is a joke, just look at the Celtic and Rangers European results in recent years.Embarrassing is not the word. I don’t see England, Croatia or the Czech Republic being worried in any way when they meet them in the group stage. Enjoy it while it lasts, the problem being ,it won’t last very long.It could easily be another 20 plus years before they qualify again.

Aye --they will be hiring an open-topped bus to drive round the country before you know it.

    Nicola will be driving it!
Never missed a penalty in shoot outs (they’ve only had two)

    Celtic poor but Rangers unbeaten
Rangers are currently the ONLY unbeaten team in any of the UKs top leagues. Steven Gerrard's men have played 10 games including Europa League qualifiers and group stages and have not yet registered a single defeat. Course they have Scotty leading much of it, one we should have kept!

    Legdzins now at Dundee
