    Favourite Non Xmassy Xmas Songs.

Songs that didn’t have Xmas mentioned in them or were out at that time of year and they always remind you of Xmas.

This one from December 81 does it for me.....Jon and Vangelis ( I’ll find my way home )

I had rather a soft spot for A Spaceman came Travelling by Chris De Burgh who many think was a Christmas song but it aint. Then he ruined his reputation by singing The Lady In Red

Just waiting for Danny to reply by saying her rather liked The Lady In Red

This post reminds me of that Little Drummer Boy song Bowie did with Bing. Always gets played at Xmas but doesn't mention Xmas. Bowie looks stoned out of his head in parts of the video which in all likley hood in 1974 he was.

While I don't mind The Lady in Red I've always preferred her sister The Lady in Pink. I've also been known to dabble with their sister The Lady in Brown too but only at Christmas and on other special occasions. Those latter days are long gone now though and these days I'm more usually occupied with their cousins the Palms. As I'm rough and ready Calloused Palm is my favourite of the two 😊 .

We always play Yeha Noha, not a Christmas Song but good to play at Christmas.
Sick of hearing all the songs from thirty or more years ago they churn out every year, about time someone did a decent Christmas tune again.

Most Xmas compilation albums include 'A Spaceman came Travelling by' so it is very much classed as a Xmas number.
