They are clearly utterly inept. Whatever party they are from.
We’ll no doubt see the parking levy being increased and rates to pay for their incompetence.
The worrying thing is that only half of it relates to Robin Hood Energy..... how much more has gone wrong?!?
The City Council is far from alone in having financial difficulties.

It never ceases to amaze me how many people still think Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire County Council are the same entity.
Then again, when you have 'Notts' County FC playing in the City and 'Nottingham' Forest FC playing in the County, perhaps the confusion is understandable, at least amongst football fans.
I don’t doubt it. Significantly tough times ahead.
They could always risk public health for a quick buck, set up a loss making company in an industry they know nothing about, or invest in an overseas bank they are warned not to.
That will all really help with the already difficult situation they are in thanks to austerity.
Unfortunately this is all a consequence of incompetence, in Nottingham’s case mostly at council level, but also at the government level.
It will the poorest who bear the greatest burden in all of this. Yet again.
Who exactly are these politicians here to serve?
