    Head Injuries in Sport

This,I think,is going to be a big topic in 2021.Two International rugby players now diagnosed with the early onset of dementia. One can't remember playing for England in Australia and a former Welsh player now diagnosed at the age of 41.Football is now a known risk.

There are other dangerous sports such as boxing, horse racing and motor sports and if any of the participants take action against the authorities we could be in very dangerous territory for professional sport.

We will soon have nowt left barrie.

We can't even call someone who is actually black, "black" anymore.

If you want the snowflake brigade out in force - E.g. Just say; "Hey barrie, can you see that black dude over there?" FFS!

Seems the Romanian word for black is negru so I’m not sure if it was misheard as negro and thus triggered the offensive nerve endings.
Will Romanian officials now be banned.
My old Prof used to say pigmented people. No doubt starting with pig that would fall at the first hurdle.

Seems a class action against the RFU is being set up by 8 rugby players, so that will put the cat amongst the pigeons. The challenge will be proving the link. Many brain conditions can’t be diagnosed till after death.
The FA have evaded liability even though a study has shown enhanced risks of brain damage from headers.

The AFL have paid out over £1bn after a 2017 study on brains of deceased gridiron football players, 99% of tested brains of NFL players, 88% of CFL players, 64% of semi-professional players, 91% of college football players, and 21% of high school football players had various stages of chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE).
