What is best for the club and supporters

It goes against the grain to accept a bad run of results, along with poor performances on the field, dropping into the danger zone, and having the worry of the drop.

But if that's what it takes for Bruce to go and almost anyone reasonably decent to replace in time to save the Premiership status so that the hoped-for takeover can resume and become successful I would accept that every time.

Especially as the above would give the Fat Slug sleepless nights and worry thinking if we did drop he would lose millions.

Pat, if you offered me 5 seasons of chimpo football to get rid of Ashley and get a competent owner now I'd take it.
At least it would be 5 years with hope of a brighter future and some better atmosphere in the ground.
I miss my club and I want it back.

    ^^^^^^ this all day long.

i was even looking at Sheff Utd this morning, they are playing out of their skins and just cant put it in the net.

they have lost their keeper and their best player is injured. they can not score for love nor money. BUT the football is there to see, they are giving it all for the club and manager, because of form their heads drop easily. IF they got rid of their manager id take him in a heartbeat over Bruce, an attack minded manager would love our squad to build on

A big yep to both those posts.

There are SO many managers whose style of football I would take over Bruce's.

That number would probably be 99% of them, including untried at higher levels but forward-thinking with potential.
