Before the match i said to a fellow Barnsley fan ........ it’s an opportunity for these young players to see where they are by comparing themselves against top of the league players, some of which have played in the Premier - if we come away from Norwich with a less than 3-0 score line then I’m going to be pleased.
So I shouldn’t be disappointed with a 1-0 loss.

But I am !!!
Norwich were there for the taking.
We were in it throughout.
A fabulous effort by us - brilliant !!!
So I’m disappointed - but that disappointment is because we didn’t draw or actually win that game.
If any game this season has given me confidence for the future - then it’s this one.

Player notes:
The back 3 (especially Mads) needs to improve their ability to pass the ball forward.
Thomas - needs to put more pressing (defensive effort) in - and going forward he needs to believe in himself more.
Styles - will now have a better idea of how much his game has to improve if he wants to move up a level.
