    Table looks good tonight

Out of bottom 3 with games in hand.

Can go 6 from bottom if we win both games.

Yes, nice of Preston to score in the 95th minute!

Weds/Forest drawing and Wycombe/QPR losing again. It's very tight indeed down at the foot of the table.

Just have to hope that our Covid affected players get back to full strength asap. I've had friends who are still feeling lethargic long after they've had it. Surely this is a main worry for all at the club.

Forest v Birmingham game was horrific. Made Coventry v Us look like Real Madrid v Barcelona.

Derby County top scorer Martyn Waghorn getting a straight red and an upcoming ban is also a bonus.

Yes a Bad day for Wayne Rooney and his Frank Lampard,s Derby County team.
Player sent off and then did a 'Rotherham' and conceded after the ref,s watch stopped

Brought Bimingham & Q.P.R. into the mix, with Coventry now in reach, but the games in hand have to reap points, 4 points out of the 2 games against Derby & Middlesbrough, but would settle for 3 points.
What can go against us is the financial clout of Derby, Nottingham Forest, Q.P.R. & Birmingham in the January transfer window, whether Sheffield Wednesday have money to spend, can't really say with their money problems at the moment, Coventry & Wycombe the other 2 teams, whether they have money in their budget, we will have to wait & see.

Yes very true but these teams have some decisions to make because they have to abide to limited squads
If they try and sign some players they might not be able to offload any

Games in hand count for naff all unless you can win 'em but then I seem to remember we were in a bad situation in this division once before, worse in fact, we were behind on points at the bottom but with several games in hand and then Emlyn (I think it was) took us on a record-breaking run of 8 wins in a row. So you never know! I just worry about where the goals are going to come from. Completely off subject - saw MOTD live today; Martinez looked useful, didn't he? Remember him?

Indeed, games in hand are the classic “ glass half full” scenario

3 games bringing 9 points (and improved goal difference) and we are in clover

However so far we’ve got a track record of slightly short of 1 point per game, so three points from three games might not be enough.

I would rather be in our position than any teams below us or the 2 teams above us

I agree a win is hard to come by but it's in our own hands.

1 win opens a 3 point gap up from Derby and jumps us above forest
