The telecaster is a great guitar Soulman. I've always been a Gibson man myself but I mainly play acoustic these days.

Hi, i've got 3 strats a rare 98 Transparent teal USA deluxe , a rare Fender Japan ST 65Tx matching headstock candy apple red great guitar but don't like the 7.25 radius on the fretboard and a Mexican Telecaster. Still got my ist guitar a white Fender Mex Strat which started my journey, got for £30 . I was walking my dog and one the neighbours said to you want to buy a guitar. My wife said i'll never learn or keep it up. After about 10 years ,still loving it.
Would love to play acoustic , but have trouble playing with damaged hands.
MY Twin Brother has always played Acoustic guitars and is going to treat himself to Martin d18

My mate loves strats. I play a Faith jupiter eclipse, jumbo because of its depth and tone. Great guitar not expensive either. I got it off ebay for £200 and it was badly damaged but I knew that was what I wanted. Great on gigs, great to play. I have a 1968 Gibson 330 semi which I used to play in bands over the years but because I write all the time I just reach for the acoustic. I suppose one day I will have to bite the bullet and sell some of my guitars as I mainly record from home now and mainly with the acoustic. Sorry about your hands btw, must be difficult.

Hi the guitar and music has been my salvation.
I suffer from chronic pain in all my joints. But don't want to go the morthine and painkiller route.
So I trick my mind, by playing the guitar it's always by my side. So when I'm listening to music, i pick it a play in $ or five minutes bursts. This also keeps my fingers moving.
If anyone suffers from pain or stress, take up a similar hobby and trick your mind.

Hiya Lloyd, have you tried hot paraffin wax baths for your hands? They're not for everyone but if you haven't tried them yet it could be worth a go for your joints.
