    Although he is parasite of a man Barton has done a decent job at Fleetwood, but it looks like the owners are fed up of upper mid table finishes...Askey did well to start off with but he has done a Sheridan and lost almost every game since the end of October so it's no great surprise.

    As we know from past experience, owners who sack managers for not taking their club forward as fast as they expect can sometimes pay for such impatience and eventually find their club moving backwards at an alarming rate. I know Fleetwood are sustained by a certain amount of 'artificial' investment beyond their normal means and thus have lofty expectations, but they shouldn't get too far ahead of themselves.
