PL table now updated for games played 9th Jan and we have a 10/10 winner!!

Yes!!!! The magic 10/10 has been won for the first time this season.

The FA Cup always springs upon us results we never expect, such is its magic. There were some very good efforts and scores achieved, with several more being oh so close to grabbing big points, great efforts all round.

Pleasing to see that all 10 games went ahead or this amazing feat may not have happened. There's been movement at the top as yours truly actually had an average score so, step forward FrogMiller as he takes the crown back but, for how long? Well done......ribbit

    The Shout outs:
A superb effort was predicted by none other than Grist to the Mill, take a bow Sir on your great accomplishment. Not only does he get his 10 points for his predicted 10/10 but also collects the added bonus of another 20 points. Being one of the last current members to join, he has been playing catch up but, he's stuck it out and now has the just rewards for his efforts. This has now propelled him way up the table to over 100 points.

To push home even more of his effort, had there been one more goal in normal playing time, he would have also bagged the goal tally. This would have given him an instant 50 points! What a gigantic and excellent effort Grist, very well done indeed.

Another shout out has to go out to CAMiller. He was only 1 prediction away from achieving 10/10 and he got the goal tally correct!
Some very close margins indeed from Grist and CAM.

A final shout to Millersrus, as he left Wycombe and Preston to draw so, sorry pal that was voided.

Goal Bonus: Correctly predicting 25 goals would be scored inside normal playing time were, Rileyv.the.third and CAMiller, well done chaps.

    Wooden Spoon holders:
I almost copped for it but step forward Ericsladfromkilnhurst, Nardendee and pip_y. One each lads for your score of 4 points.

No shows: Roly, Clarkey1974, Pocket, BOTN and Wendun. Think I'll start and leave this off going forward.

Now looking very tight at the top. Check it out!

For the record, the total number of goals scored including extra time and penalties from the games chosen was 33 so no one would have won it.
