That utter bellend Luke Edwards is trying to claim that he's not taken a training session yet and that this was all down to Bruce-despite all the pictures of him taking training people are sending him.

Well, it's all well and good wanting Brucie off but that would mean this new fella would get drawn into the Mike Ashley vortex of lies and shoite.

Happy to keep things as they are if we win. Let Big Belly Bruce deal with the "senior" management and pretend to be the Head Coach and leave Jones crack on with sorting out the team.

One swallow does not a summer make and all that... let's see where this goes.

    No, you're right trin.

One swallow doesn't etc. etc. but it is nice to just have a win

Think you're right that we just let it run as is at min. Let cabbage head have the tittle and Jones get us winning games.

No, you're right, Trini but...today wasn't as much about the quality of the players as it was the effort they put in allied to the change in tactics in terms of the pressing and attacking intent we showed. Yes, given what has come before this game, you could maybe look at this as an aberration but the things that were different are things that can be different every week so there's a chance we could see this type of performance again.

The only difference between this game and all of the poor performances which have preceded it is that the players have proved that they are capable of winning in an attractive way if handled properly and pointed in the right direction and given the desire to win.

It reminds me of the immediate difference in a hopeless forlorn team following the first coming of K.K.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not in anyway comparing this fellow to the incomparable K.K. but the change in the way we played was similar.

Exactly. It’s not the fact that we won (we’ve fluked a couple this season) but the way we played and that we fully deserved to win against a very good side.
We seemed to wear Everton down as the game went on. I didn’t recognise us at all.

As a neutral, looking in from the outside, the evidence clearly points to Jones’s influence.

Footage of Jones running training, coaching from the sidelines, sharper tactics, and enthusiasm, to name but a few.

Chalk and cheese, with no evidence of ‘cabbage-ball’ throughout the 90+ mins. And believe me, I’ve seen enough of ‘cabbage-ball’ to know the difference.

    Bruce said to Jones
"You take care of picking the team, setting them up, match management, take care of training, man management. And leave the rest to me"
