Clarets ran 6km more than Wolves.

I’ve just finished reading the Wolves point of view in their local paper”Express and Star”. The views from the Black Country are pretty damning ,saying that defeat had been coming for some time.Admittedly they had a couple of players out, but football these days is a squad game. In any case, we know all about injuries. It appears that their next game against neighbours WBA seems pretty ***** , with Nuno under huge pressure,in charge of an under performing team, not knowing what his best formation is. In truth , Wolves fans have been spoilt since coming up from the Championship. Lots of money has been spent, they’ve played attractive football, and by and large, deserved all the plaudits they’ve received.Generally, their fans were full of praise for the Clarets, especially Wood, who always does well against them. You would have thought they would have done something about that.( just like us against Saint Maximim). The fact that we actually “outran” them in terms of distance covered, is not to be ignored. This was a minor but important factor in a great team performance, superbly orchestrated by the best manager in the PL. Long may it continue.
P.s Do they speak Portuguese down the JobCentre ?

It's all about players giving 100% and chasing lost causes.

    .

those points, that game - was ours, so ours, that them taking any from us - would've been tantamount to theft !
