The Royal who asked about the likely colour of the Harry / Meghan baby

The media worldwide have jumped upon this matter of the anonymous Royal who asked about the likely colour of the forthcoming Harry / Meghan baby girl. Of course the Royal may have asked about this with a racist attitude. But equally likely the question may have been asked from an attitude of simple ignorance / curiosity, certainly not preference.

If your son / daughter had married someone of a different colour and a pregnancy occurred then at some time between the conception and the birth you may well have asked about the likely colour of the baby, not with a racist attitude. It may be asked in order to simply decide what would look best in terms of the colour of clothes etc.

There was great lad at my workplace that was black but had white parents but his grandad or somebody (can't member who he said now) was black and his skin colour turned out to be a throwback to him
