    Allardyce

This man needs to go, not using the subs when it’s blatantly obvious the sides running on empty, the use of the The Welsh International over Robinson beggars belief.
Same tactics over and over lumping it to Diange, A dinosaur of a manger happy with a clean sheet, unbelievable that people have been taken in by him, I really hope we don’t employ him next season.

He Came too late, but he's changed things for the better. I would use HRK over Robinson all day long because he has a brain. We have suffered from too many young numskulls not knowing how to pass a ball and trying to be too clever. You have to ask yourself why Every manager we have had while we had HRK has used him. We buy Austin, HRK preferred for most of last season. We buy Grant, HRK preferred as first sub after we buy Diagne on loan. They see him in training and he's focused and doesn't go off on his own tangent. Managers dream. Not saying he's first choice if you get a prolific goalscorer. But if you want someone reliable you call for HRK. I know his picture is on your dartboard but that's your dartboard. Not mine.

He'll be gone anyway at seasons end. The bloke was brought it for one reason only, survival and that is where he fails. He was always going to fail. Yesterdays man was never an acceptable replacement but would anybody have saved us?

To not go for it and throw everything forward was a mistake, 0-0 did as much good for us as, say, 0-6. You can’t always prioritize clean sheets, but BS always does.

As for HRK, I can def see what he brought to games, before, and I stress the past tense. After the ”Corona break” last spring, I haven’t seen him bring anything to games, quite invisible every time he comes on.

But to be fair, all of our so called forwards are quite abysmal.

That's a fair post Swedish. For me Fat Sam was going on and on about tiredness and it not being fair. But apart from the last 7 minutes he played the same team as Thursday! That's two poor games inside three days for Pereira - can he pass - can he take a corner? Whilst Phillips was better - he's a poor player for me. Why did he not play any of these three from the start today - Snodgrass, Grosicki or Grant? Diagne does miss quite a few but to be fair he's not had much service and would always look more likely to score than anyone else - although that's not saying much!

In summary apart from Sheffield - West Brom and Newcastle are the two other worst teams in the division. Yes we have improved but still look like a relegation team.

PS - only two players of real Premier quality and that's Gallagher and Okay. I still don't see Johnstone as Premier although overall he's done a great job. All the others including Pereira, Grant, Diangana are simply not good enough!

    Harsh - don't think so!

Good question. It all comes down to money these days. We don’t buy one player for 80 million. You can’t compete with that.

No matter what your own personal opinion of SA is, just look at the statistics. Up to and including the Man. City game, when we let in five, we had conceded 50 goals. In the following eight games we have conceded just eight goals. While I'm not a lover of that style of play had that been reciprocated over the season we could well have avoided relegation. SA saw what we had, realised what we needed, and did as well as he could with the funds available to him. There's no denying we're a better side than we were and harder to beat so we need to give him some slack. What we do at the end of the season is beside the point but I don't think that anyone else would have done better in attempting to keep us up.

Look at Liverpool, all conquering champions last season. Yes, I know they've lost a lot of players through injury but they've still got a better squad than we have and they've lost five home games on the trot. Looks like being six as they're 0-1 down to Fulham. Klopp can't buy a home win. My point is would someone like him have done any better?

I agree Leicester! Fat Sam likes money so I would put the same bonus on the table had he kept us up - if he gets us back up! Fat Sam I think would jump at that and rebuild the side with his players with the bonus in mind!

Couldn’t agree more, Gallagher and Yokuslu are a different class. Our club needs a clear plan. It’s been shooting in the dark for years now.

Given the right financial backing I think BS would brings straight back up. The players he brought in on loans have all been an improvement on what we had. And he has turned a defence which was the worst in the division by a country mile ..... into one that’s difficult to break down.

But the summer is going to be crucial and it depends on the hierarchy in China to a very large extent. We could have Pep, Klopp, Mourinho or BS ..... but if no financial backing any Manager will be f*****. At least BS can spit a decent player ..... which is Why I for one would like to see him given an go .....
