    Pope likely to go?

It seems Man U and Spurs want him this summer. If the price is right?

The United rumour doesn't make sense, unless they're intending to ship out both De Gea and Henderson, which seems unlikely to me.

If all the big names go we should get some serious revenue and with judicious buying we could have a good, young healthy squad.

That just reminded me of an old joke..
Teacher: Can anyone give me a sentence with "judicious" in it?
Little Alto: Yes miss. Hands that judicious can feel soft as your face, with mild green fairy liquid.

it's been long enough coming...and as defence and goal have been our solid, there'll be no time to dally with learners, it'll need quality and experience to match - replacements that should have been here already, prepared for...and the way they've screwed around with transfers - doesn't fill us with confidence.

I think it is unlikely BPF could genuinely replace Pope. Certainly neither Long nor Dunne could replace Tarkowski.

Personally I would keep them both and hope we can give them the contracts that will keep them both at Turf Moor.

It seems to me if we can keep McNeil, Tarkowski and Pope, and add a couple of ready to go established EPL players in July we could have one heck of a season next year.

I think Tarky and Pope will go if the teams that come for them are right ( can’t not really ).

So it’s a re build for me as we’re going to need a good centre back ( a keeper back up ), a wide man with pace, a centre forward , a right back , a centre mid creative strong type plus some cover players.

You would say leaving are Long - Brady - Tarky - Pope ( maybe Vydra ) Add to that the potential players who are injury prone / old

JBG , Barnes ,Bardsley ( despite year extension ).

It looks very thin on the ground.

So you want to keep Taylor,Brownhill & McNeil and replace everybody else with the money from the sale of two players?I think you may be a little unrealistic there Army.
