    Lockdown could last until October

    MP's to vote on Thursday.
October will be just right for the Flu season so Christmas will be cancelled again more than likely.
How long can this go on?
I never wanted to go to prison but I have been in prison for the last twelve months and I'm not getting any younger.
I would sooner get my freedom back and take the chance I won't be one of the 0.5% that falls seriously ill with Covid.
I'm going to die anyway in the next decade or so anyway FFS.

    I have to agree Des.

Over half the adult population is now vaccinated and the rest will be done by July and at that point we can start dosing everyone again if immunity only lasts for 6-12 months.

The “experts” own figures spouted on TV the other day stated that for even the most elderly, the chance of becoming even hospitalised by Covid had dropped by 90% once they’ve had the vaccine and the chance of dying by the same amount.

I’ve got to the point of wondering just who it is we’re trying to protect?

We are now basically saying that it’s okay to die from anything else but you can’t die from Covid FFS.

I’ll stick with the rules as in place at the moment but after June they can go f u c k themselves.

I’ve been to my place in Wales just once in 13 months now and pay the privilege of an extra 50% annual Council Tax on a place I’m banned from visiting so from June I’ll risk the fines!

I feel sorry for anyone with an underlying health issue and I may find out in the next couple of weeks that I myself are one of those unfortunate people but the simple fact is........it’s up to the vulnerable to take the steps THEY need to take after June.

    Enough is enough.

Once everyone is vaccinated (July sometime) that has to be it, I have been a staunch supporter of lockdown up to this point and the advertised roadmap to open up the country is a sensible one, I do think foreign travel should be a no go until the countries we are allowed to visit have caught up with us and all their adult population is equally vaccinated. We should also completely ban travel from countries that are behind our rollout.

Not everyone is gonna get vaccinated for various reasons and the jab does not stop you catching or infecting someone with the virus

Past caring but I do have to go on a business trip in May to Dubai for a critical meeting!

But their will only be around 20% of people who COULD get infected and out of them not all will get infected and a minuscule number will die.

WTF are we protecting after June?

    I don’t get it?

I 100% agree with what you say. But my point is what happens when millions refuse to take the jab for various reasons? As the jab is not mandatory then how will the country resume normality? Freedom is the restoration of what we had before March 2020. The jab is not the 'game changer' as this Government said it would be. So how do we see this playing out?

Millions will have had 2 jabs by June but the Government and the PHE are already saying that measures like masks and travel restrictions are likely to continue “certainly for a few years” before we gradually go back to a more normal situation, YEARS. Why? is it because the vaccines are not effective? Perhaps we are being set up for something far more sinister? Gawd knows Ive had enough of this madness, that's for sure

If people don't have the jab and the jab is as good as they would have us believe, then the only loser's would be those who don't have it, and most of those would survive, so the rest of us could carry on as normal.
If not then we haven't been told the truth from the start.
