Thread: Centre backs for Saturday..?

  1. #1

    Centre backs for Saturday..?

With the build a bear cup upon us and with the issues around our centre backs (fatigued), how should the special one approach this game.?
For me he should play Turner with a youth team centre back..
Hopefully we should have experience and pace and give one of our youngsters invaluable experience whilst protecting the regulars from injuries...?
    Just a thought....

Maybe even Steve Evans and Louis Walsh. Seriously though, even though this is the FA Trophy there's a Wembley final and prize money at stake so I can't see Notts fielding a deliberately second string side this time out.

I just dont think we should get sucked in by the wembley final...
Promotion is the be all and end all for this season.
Losing a centre back in a mickey mouse game would be scandalous...

I have to agree Pedro. I'd rather lose the semi-final 10-0 if it meant we get promoted, much as I'd prefer Notts to win every game.

Maybe the money that you get for winning it makes the owners feel it is not a Mickey mouse cup.

This - purely because Rawlinson needs a rest and I assume Lacey will still be injured. But then Turner should be nowhere near the team again for league games.
