Who has watched this?

I (did) eat a fair bit of seafood and I have to say I am a bit shocked by the docu-movie. So I did a bit of research today and the seafood store I usually get my fish from and I discovered that all of my fish I buy from there is farmed. I was really really surprised by this, but now I realise I was basically duped by branding and marketing. The farmed fish is pretty bad for one of my kids as she is coeliac and the feed has very high levels of gluten in it. So I tried to source a new store in an area with a hell of a lot of fish shops that only sold hand caught fish. Wow it was difficult. I did find one with some hand caught fish. I strongly recommend that you watch the program and draw your own conclusions.

QP.

I also did not realise just how much pollution is caused by fishing nets. The movie stated 46% of plastic pollution in the sea I think. Online research states a lot less than that but still 10%.

Next time you buy fish ask a lot of questions. It seems beef is not so bad after all!
