Hello mate.
The name and the setting don’t do it justice. For me it is the best Italian in the area.
The fillet steak (I have it rare) with dolcelatte chesse sauce is my favourite on the menu. But all the pasta dishes are good as well. I’ve not had the pizza.

Make sure you book. It hasn’t got many seats and books up quickly at weekends.

Hi mate. Went last night, absolutely stunning food, brilliant service by really friendly staff. I had the fillet with the same sauce you have, medium rare and it was beautiful. My good lady got to have her mussels in spicy tomato sauce for her starter so was really happy. Everyone loved their food and experience.

Terrible name though, makes it sound like a cheap pizza takeaway joint.

I went before the name change and had the special which was bass steamed in pastry (like calzone pastry), would love to have that again.

Is it run by the same people? I think they were from Calabria.

Totally agree about the name.

It was taken over about 3 years ago - so depends when you last went.

I have a feeling that the owners have changed since you last went.

Not a problem. I’m glad you enjoyed it. That steak is a thing of beauty. Coincidentally my wife has the mussels there as well.
I went to Miller and Carter last week. Food was ok but it’s like being in a whetherspoons. Noisy, tables too close and full of chavs. Not worth the money at all.

Lamb dinner at home today and cleethorpes for Papas tomorrow 😍
