Reported, Sheffield Wednesday Players Reject Furlough

Its been reported that Sheffield Wednesday owner Dejphson Chansiri, has asked
the clubs playing staff, about the possibility of being furloughed, as part of the
Government Job Retention Scheme, in a attempt to solve their cash flow problems.

Also reported the playing staff, have rejected the clubs attempt to place them on
    furlough.
With 8,000 Sheffield Wednesday fans applying for refunds, for matches missed at
the end of the 2019-20 season, still no closer to discovering when they will be
    reimbursed.

With Wednesday players not receiving wages on time, & only a certain amount
of their salaries being paid, which was reported has being £7,000 a month, with
the rest to be paid later, as far back as November 2020.
It would seem the club has hit rock bottom, in the league & the coffers.

Surely there must be another points deduction incoming for this basket case of a club?

Looks like they've been sold down the river. This chairman has done so much more damage than previous chairmen they've had. They hounded Dave Alan out of the club.Mandrich came along took the club on and made some profit and sold it to the present owner, who seems not to have the spending power Owls fans boasted he had. They appear to be in a much worse situation than we thought.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer club memory is still fresh when they took the piss out of us with our begging buckets while the Blades helped us not least with the 3 loans of Quinn Forte can’t remember the other fellow
They really have took the piss right from the Charterhouse affair to the present day
Chuck em in League 2 I say

Oh come on your not doing the tuna man justice here. He could still lease out both penalty spots to a far east betting syndicate to raise enough money to illuminate the "chansiri" lettering on the seats in the main stand and comfortably take them into League 2

Yes footie fans have a habit of biting the hand that feeds them for not "investing/ throwing enough money away. We may have to look a bit closer to home before we are too critical here!

No matter what some on here think of Tony Stewart, we will never end up in this situation with him in charge.

Where's Wendy when you need her? Perceptive insight desperately needed.
