    Promotion odds for next season

Surprised to see that the bookies have Weds as the favourites for promotion. They also have them down to be Champions. Considering the massive overall they have to undergo with the team and the financial mess they’re in, I think the bookies are taking punters for mugs.

Most punters are mugs so they’ve got that bit right.

    To finish as Champions

    Sheffield Wednesday 7/1
    Sunderland 7/1
    Charlton 9/1
    Ipswich 10/1
    Portsmouth 12/1
    Rotherham 12/1
    Bolton 14/1
    Lincoln 14/1
    Oxford 14/1
    Wigan 18/1

Think I'll have a fiver on us.

There’s not much logic to it they basically look at the biggest attendance and work their way down by looks

I thought the bookies were meant to be one step ahead of the average punter.
Have they not heard about the impending implosion over at S6. Or maybe they're enticing a lot of bets on them knowing full well it's going to be a difficult season for our feathered foes and therefore it's unlikely they'll have to pay out

Lincoln look a decent side & I like Appleton as a coach.

20-1 Wycombe is an appealing bet. They could steamroll League 1 which, from what i've seen of it, isn't very good.

Flour that’s what I put in my opening post. Of course they know of the situation at swillsbro but some sad mug punters will still back em to win / go up.

Wycombe deserve to stay up and Derby should take their place.
