Injuries to players, Out of Contract / Released - Treatment.

Where players are out of contract, or been released by their club, with quite a lot of
players contracts ending today 30 June.
But what happens to players out of contract / released who still have injuries sustained
while under contract at a club, who covers treatment for the injured players.
Common sense is the club will have to continue to provide treatment to injured players,
which surely be in their contracts.
For instance Sheffield Wednesday player Tom Lees, out of contract today, but suffering
still from a serious ankle injury sustained against Middlesbrough, end of April 2021.

Bristol City said to be interested in the player.
